LATEST PRO RIDER RANKINGS PUBLISHED

After all the excitement and drama of Rounds 2 & 3 the latest Pro Rider Rankings have now been published.

SERGIO LAYOS IS CONGRATULATED FOR HIS 3RD PLACE IN WIGAN LIFTING HIM UP TO 7TH IN THE PRO RIDER RANKINGS

Ahead of the up coming SUPERFINALS in Canary Wharf the Pro Rider Rankings are crucial as they offer the top riders an easier route to the title deciding finale.

HOW THE PRO RIDER RANKINGS WORK

Riders are ranked according to their personal best results throughout their StreetVelodrome career.

  • Bronze Riders - Have a personal best finish of 3rd in at least one event

  • Silver Riders - Have a personal best finish of 2nd in at least one event

  • Gold Riders - Have a personal best of winning at least one event

  • Champ Riders - Have previously won at the SuperFinals

  • Legend Riders - Have won two or more SuperFinals

Legends are ranked highest, followed by Champ, Gold, Silver and Bronze riders.

After each event in the Viking Pro Series Riders can jump up or fall down the rankings according to their latest performance.

For example - The highest ranked Gold rider will be the one who has won the latest round of the Viking Pro Series. They will leap frog all the other Gold Riders.

Only a rider's previous results during the last two series count. So only those who have competed in the 2017 or 2018 Viking Pro Series are included in the Rankings.
