2016 Pro Rider champions Jess Stone and Patrick Robinson will be appearing at the Scottish Cycling Running & Outdoor Pursuits Show riding our new fleet of Viking bikes. The show runs from 10th to 12th March at Glasgow SECC.

Patrick is the current male Pro champion of StreetVelodrome having won gold at the 2016 SuperFinals which were held in front of Buckingham Palace last July. Patrick also competes in the Red Bull urban downhill series and is returning from South America to appear at the show in Glasgow.

He will be coaching amateurs plus having demo races against his SuperFinals rival, silver medallist Jack Ravenscroft. Jack has competed for Team GB in Cyclocross and was a regular visitor to the StreetVelodrome podium during the 2016 TV Series. However he has not beaten Patrick since the 2015 SuperFinals. Jack will be at the show for all three days and hoping to get at least one demonstration race win against his 2016 rival.

Also appearing at the show will be the 2015 & 2016 female Pro Champion of StreetVelodrome Jess Stone. Jess is the most successful StreetVelodrome athlete of all time, with 24 straight wins and two titles to her name. She was also the 2010 British Downhill champion. She will be coaching on Friday and Saturday of the show. With her smooth yet rapid riding style she will undoubtedly be setting some times to rival those of the men.

Joining Jess will be 2016 rookie of the year 17 year old Jessica Watts. Jessica won a bronze medal at the 2016 SuperFinals and has rapidly progressed since making her StreetVelodrome Series debut at Round 1 at Eden Project, Cornwall last May. Jessica is also the national schools track sprint champion.

All four pro riders will be offering expert coaching and tips for visitors to the show looking to get on the StreetVelodrome track using our fleet of Viking bikes. And for children our amazing DeNovo bikes will have them racing around the track in no time.

StreetVelodrome events offer amateurs as well as pros the chance to compete in a nationwide televised pursuit racing series using its unique pop up track. Find out when StreetVelodrome will be visiting your home town and how to take part by clicking here
