One of only three team that can still, in theory, win the Series. Teammates Jessica and Patrick have been consistently performing well throughout the Series. One of the great stories of this year has been the rise and rise of 17 year old Jessica Watts.
She made her debut in Round 1 Eden Project but failed to make the podium. By her home event in Round 5 Stockton she had become a favourite to either win silver or bronze. Her speed in qualifying normally secures the team a top three place. Patrick is no slouch either. He has now 3 gold medals to his name and has topped qualifying on a number of occasions. So its with increased interest spectator's eyes should be on this duo at the SuperFinals.
If they win all four of the available golds they could still win the Series outright from Team Cornwall. Less dramatic things have already happened in StreetVelodrome history.
The team sit third in all three competitions including the Catch Trophy and Most Wins Trophy. Both of these may be out of reach on the final day of the Series. But individual glory for these two riders is definately a possibility.
The SuperFinals will be held in Green Park, Central London as part of Prudential RideLondon. Amateur Qualifying starts at 9.30. Pro Qualifying starts at 12pm. The racing starts at 2pm with the final podium celebrations expected around 3.30pm.
Will it be Angels of the North celebrating in Green Park?
