Team Cycleguard have entered the televised 2015 UK StreetVelodrome Series and have immediately signed up 2010 British Downhill Champion Jess Stone as their designated female pro rider.
Jess is no stranger to the Series. Racing at StreetVelodrome Stockton during the 2014 Series her times during the morning practice session were fast enough to qualify in the men’s category. She was one of only two racers to get the better of 2014 Pro Female champion Anna Glowinski in head to head racing going on to win gold at the Stockton event.
Cycleguard, one of the UK’s leading specialist cycle insurance brands, offers protection for cyclists and their bikes. They cover any type of cycling from recreational to participation in race events. Jess Stone’s Pro Male teammate will be announced at the London Bike Show (12th to 15th February) along with more details of the 2015 UK StreetVelodrome Series.
At each event during the 2015 Series amateur riders will have the chance to qualify to race alongside Jess and the other Pro Riders.
