Olympic and Commonwealth games medalist Ross Edgar has signed up to race for Team Mad Dog Energy Lemonade (MDEL) for the next four rounds of the SportPursuit StreetVelodrome Series.
He will be joining fellow MDEL pro rider Anna Glowinski who herself won gold in Stevenage helping the team to 2nd in the medal table.
Ross who debuted for Team Velotec in the first event of the series in Stevenage. He lost out in his 2nd heat to Keelan Philips (who he is now replacing at MDEL) by just 0.04 of a second.
Ross brings with him a fantastic track cycling list of achievements with Gold medals in the Melbourne commonwealth games for the Team Sprint and a silver in the Bejing Olympics for the Kierin.
Ross's StreetVelodrome commitments will see him compete at his home event in Paisley for Round 5 on 26th July.
